Fall is in the air! With every transition between seasons, I like to change my home decor to reflect the special and unique aspects that each season has to offer. Of course the first thing that I think of when I think of fall is changing leaves. September and October are always filled with absolutely gorgeous colors and blooming trees all around our little city of Portland. For this reason, I like to incorporate lots of leaf accents into my fall decor. Here are just a few of my favorite ways to style paper leaves to create stunning fall decor for your home. The trick for each of these is to use metallic text weight papers that will give an elegant shimmer to your projects. I have added links for some of my favorite colors in the Shop this Project section!

Fall Leaf Garland:
A leaf garland is a fantastic way to add some pops of fall colors to your mantel or front door. Crafting a garland is super easy with just a needle and some thread. Use gold thread for an extra metallic accents! Simply fold the leaf stem in half and poke the needle through the paper to string the garland together. Talk about easy fall decor!

Fall Leaf Wreath:
Wreaths easily showcase seasonal offerings in an elegant way, and you can use them for indoor or outdoor fall decor. Use a wreath on your front door to welcome guests as they enter your home, or hang one in your kitchen or dining room to add a cozy, rustic touch. All you need is a wreath form from your local craft store and some hot glue to attach the leaves. You can even add a couple of acorns or pinecones amongst your leaves for added interest.
